Here's an effortless dish you will surely love.
Tokwa't Baboy.
Pork Liempo and fried Tofu.
I used what's available in the fridge.
vinegar and soy sauce to make it yummy.
Best Pair with Lugaw or Arroz Caldo, some love it for PULUTAN.
But this time. Ulam in the making ๐
If you wanted to have a Sweet sour and saucy. You may add a tablespoons of sugar in the mixture.
Ingredients
250g pork belly liempo
3pcs Cube tofu
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tbsp sugar (optional)
1 pc onion sliced
Pinch of ground black pepper
2 cups cooking oil for Frying
2 cups of Water
Pour-in water in a pot,
Put-in pork then simmer until tender (approx 30 mins to 1 hour)
Pour cooking oil on a separate pan.
When the oil is hot, deep-fry the tofu until it turns golden brown and crispy
Slice fried tofu and pork into bite-sized pieces.
set aside
Combine sugar, soy sauce, and vinegar in bowl. Stir.
Add the ground black pepper, onions.
Pour the sauce in a serving bowl with sliced meat and Tofu.
Serve hot!

Sarap nyan momsh, so easy to cook. Ang ginagawa q nmn sa tokwat baboy, nilalagyan q ng oyster sauce para may konting sabaw for my kids, ayaw kc nila ng dry. But your recipe is still d best partner for lugaw or arroz caldo.
