Who loves empanada?
Thinking of making your Very Own empanada at Home?

You can have any filling you want. 

Sharing you a quick steps on How to Make your own Empanada Dough

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1/4 cup margarine

1/2 teaspoon sugar

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 large egg

2 tablespoons cold water


Let's start on How to make an Empanada Dough:

In a bowl combine the flour, margarine and sugar and salt. Mix well.

Add the egg and cold water and knead to form a dough.
  • Chill before rolling out.
  • Use a Bowl/Plate to make a circle. 
Your Now redy to fill the dough and seal it with a Fork or White Egg.

Tofu Sisig ala Maxs | MajLife

Tofu Sisig, is one of my favorite dish.
its Made with fried tofu, bell peppers, and mayonnaise. 

Whenever we dine to Max's restaurants, we always have this in our order.
This is just easy to make and a budget-friendly.

It takes 25minutes to prepare and cook. 

Let's Start Cooking:

  • Tofu
  • Cooking oil
  • 1 onion, peeled and chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
  • 1 small green bell peppers, chopped in cube
  • calamansi juice
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • Oyster Sauce
  • Salt and ground black pepper to taste

Heat oil in a pot.
Males sure Oil is Hot enough Not to Stick Tofu. deep-fry until it turns brown /crispy. 
Remove from the pot and Drain. 
Set aside.

Now time to make the sauce:

Saute onion, garlic, bell peppers.
Add the crispy fried tofu. Stir-fry for 1 minute.
Pour Mayonnaise, then follow Oyster Sauce and Calamansi. 
Add salt and pepper to taste. (depending on your taste)

Ready to serve. 
Transfer in a Bowl.
