Sinigang Na Hipon (Shrimp Sinigang)

When it comes to a FILIPINO Dish.This should always be in our list. This is an old time favorite . A sour taste that you would definitely ask for more.
Preparation time: 10 mins
Cooking time: 30 mins
Total time: 40 mins

 

Ingredients:
* 2 lbs shrimp
* 1 bunch water spinach (kangkong), strips
* 3 Pcs string beans (sitaw), cut in length
* 3 Pcs Gumbo (Okra)
* 2 pcs med-sized tomatoes, sliced
* 1 large white onion, Sliced
* 6 cups water
* 1 pack sinigang mix (tamarind mix)
* 2 pcs long green pepper
*
Steps on how to Cook this:
* Pour the water in a large cooking pot and bring to a boil
* Add onions, tomatoes, Gumbo (Okra) & String Beans (Sitaw) and cook until texture becomes soft
* Put-in long green pepper and sinigang mix, Let it simmer for 2 minutes
* Add shrimps then simmer for 5 minutes
* Add water spinach (Kangkong), cover the pot. Wait for 5 minutes.
* Add another long green pepper (i like the taste of this)
* Put the Heat Off and Taste.
* Serve hot. Share and Enjoy!

Being a mom is fun.
Its true, its the most highest paying job in the world.
Raising a child is not easy.. Having said.. I have a 2 year old daughter who loves Blocks, Lego, Role playing,, etc.. At home she has to get all her toys and stuff and mess around the house.
The truest word.. My little girl is so active.

A Japanese fantasy park for kids and kids at heart - named as i've checked the word kid and kizuna is a japanese word - simply means a bond between a parent and their child.
Aside from a safe, environmental friendly and child friendly ambiance, it has different areas to enjoy with; Ball Pool, the role playing station (burger, sushi, ice cream house..and a lot more), Cyber Wheel, Toy Corner, and the Parent and Guardian Lounge.
The price is very reasonable. Staff are very friendly.

Bulalo Recipe

I've thought of something to cook for a weekend..
Then i remember my husband's favorite dish whenever we ate outside (restaurant, carinderia..)
its a bit hard to cook.. thats what i thought..
but..it tells me wrong,
its just as easy as 1..2..3.. its the simplest dish, indeed!


its best for cold days..
Let me share my very own recipe

Bulalo Recipe - A Filipino Dish

Ingredients
2 lbs beef shank
1 pc small cabbage
1 small Pechay
3 pcs Corn, cut
Pepper
1 whole white onion
ounces water
2 tbsp fish sauce (optional)

Instructions
In a big cooking pot, pour in water and bring to a boil
Put-in the beef shank followed by the onion and pepper
 then simmer for 1.5 hours (30 mins if using a pressure cooker) or until meat is tender.
Add the corn, potataoes, cabbage & fish sauce and simmer for another 10 minutes
Serve hot. Share and Enjoy!
