Just this August 6, DOH (Department of Health) declares National Dengue Epidemic, with 146,062 cases recorded since January up to July 20 this year, 98% higher than the same period last Year. There were 622 deaths.

Based on DOH Dengue Surveillance Report:

as implemented right away, Department of Health together with other government agencies, LGUs, schools, offices, and communities conducted the Sabayang 4-O’clock Habit for Deng-Get Out, focusing on search and destroy of mosquito breeding sites. This is one of the primary interventions to prevent and control dengue.
Its scary and very alarming right?..My eldest is 6 years old and go to school -- She stayed their 8 hours a day from Monday-Friday. And to make sure She's Free from Mosquito bites. i Make it to a point everyday to use a Deet-Free Spray, and add some patches to her uniform. Double-Action works. This Spray can be directly applied to our Kids Skin, its Totally Safe and All Natural.
SPRAY+Scented PATCHES
Bite Block Naturals is our trusted brand / insect repellent that really offers 4 hours of protection against mosquito bites. It is infused with natural active ingredients like Citronella, Eucalyptus, and Andiroba oils that not only smell good on skin, but also effectively keep mosquitoes away. It comes in a Lotion 50mL and 100mL and Spray (100mL) this is what we have at home.
Age : from 3 Months+

One benefit of using citronella as mosquito repellent is that it is safe and non-toxic to humans and animals. Although some people can have mild allergic reactions to the oil, even ingesting citronella will not affect humans it is simply broken down and passed out of the body through urine. (still have with adults supervision) when applying it.

Tips: I use this Citronella spray to Spray around the house in where usually open for mosquitoes like living room, bedroom.
One more thing, always keep your door closed and windows with curtains,
mosquitoes can't pass to it.

This year, a lot of sad news, and how little kids and even adults get by this scary dengue.

How Dengue really affects?

Symptoms and Causes.
Dengue fever is caused by any one of four types of dengue viruses spread by mosquitoes that thrive in and near human lodgings. When a mosquito bites a person infected with a dengue virus, the virus enters the mosquito. When the infected mosquito then bites another person, the virus enters that person's bloodstream.

Dengue fever affects the body by causing a high fever and flu-like symptoms. The virus infects your blood and causes a migraine-like headache, rash, achiness, queasiness, tiredness and fever. It can affect the blood, causing mild bleeding of the gums, and you may bruise easily.

How dangerous is the dengue fever? Severe dengue fever can damage the lungs, liver or heart. Blood pressure can drop to dangerous levels, causing shock and, in some cases, death.

Protect our Family, Always be cautious.. Lets clean, Check and be aware!
